RISK GAP - The space between who poses a clear threat and who can legally be disarmed under current law.
RISK GAP - refers to a mismatch between individuals who are clearly at elevated risk of committing violence (to themselves or others) and the legal authority available to professional to restrict their access to firearms.

Give Forensic Psychologists the POWER to Reduce the RISK of VIOLENCE
- Forensic Psychologists SHOULD be able to request Risk Protection Orders under F.S. 790.401
- Confidentiality SHOULD be broken in the case of ONGOING DANGEROUSNESS of harm
- Family knows when people in their home are dangerous, lets give them a voice to seek an expert instead of involving the police
